Some Feedback on the Webinar
English Teacher
To start with, I asked Julia the question about introducing natural pronunciation to students couple of weeks ago so who might be waiting for the webinar more than me?
And it met my expectations!
The webinar was so inspiring ! Actually (a_shli) the same as everything else Julia does! I feel really charged to start paying MUCH MORE attention to phonetics (I can admit it's been a bit neglected recently at my classes which resulted in poor listening skills and for me it was a wake up call!! )

I would probably add some examples of exercises / activities to see how it'll work for students not to overwhelm them with "sudden new stuff" and not to get bored myself with reading and drilling the sounds )

So thank you, Julia, so much for such an educational 2 hours

P.S. It was so nice to remember my first year at uni with all those loss of plosion, alveolar consonants and dark L

Frankly speaking I didn't even think from this perspective, that phonetics can be given through grammar!
The fact that acquiring a decent pronunciation helps us in terms of listening and fluency only proves, that we should integrate phonetics in our classes. I believe that invaluable information from this webinar will help me a lot in my work!) and I'm definitely inspired to try it all out) ☘️🌸🌺

It turned out that after 10 years of teaching English I don`t know much about teaching phonetics It`s not that I`ve been ignoring it. It just never occured to me that I wasn`t paying enough attention to it, to so many features (that I definitely should have explained to my students before giving them all those challenging listening tasks, BTW). OMG.

Thanks for the webinar, my next step is the pronunciation course

P.S. Highly recommended
Julia, thank you very much for the webinar!

I've watched it several times. I know that your blog is mainly fo english teachers, but I kind of bought this webinar for myself). I follow you on VK and instagram and learn a lot from your posts snd livestreams. They are extremely useful and inspiring. I never took my pronunciation so seriously, never paid that much attention to it. Never worked on it intentionally. Until I've found your blog on VK. You became such an inspiration for me. The tips you gave in this webinar are really helpful and it kind of structured everything that I've learnt so far. ( a lot of it from your posts!) And the PPT attached is so handy.
Thank you once again for sharing such great materials!
