I am completely satisfied with the marathon. It's totally worth it. A lot of useful information and most importantly I understood the main technique of shadowing, what details i should pay attention to. Now I feel like I can continue working on pronunciation myself.
All the explanations are very clear. For me this marathon was a great nudge to start paying attention to how I sound and how important it is. I even had some insights of how I can help my students sound more fluent and understand native speakers better.

I liked the course, I feel that it was useful for me to record the videos so I pay more attention how my lips are moving. It's good that pieces were challenging because it's relatively easy for me to reproduce sounds in separate words but it's really difficult to implement them in sentences. Julia's explanation videos were very detailed, I made a lot of notes, while listening, so I had clear idea what I was doing when I shadowed pieces.
Irina's comments were really helpful, I'm happy that I had a coach. She pointed exactly what I need to work on and she gave me a lot of recommendations.

To be honest, Pronunciation camp was daunting. However, during the course I felt necessary support and encouragement from everybody. My pronunciation is better but there's still room for improvement. It's obvious that being a fan of a British accent and working with low-level learners have left their mark on the way I pronounce some words and sounds. It takes a lot of time and practice to be fluent. When it comes to Irina's performance as a coach, I feel grateful. Every piece of advice, every video feedback and additional exercises were awesome, detailed and thorough. She pointed at some things I'd never noticed before. The best thing about Irina being my coach is her perfect pronunciation (I'm longing for sounding like her), positive attitude, kind words and smile. So, my baby steps towards American accent are visible for me right now. Moreover, I've started hearing some tricky things while watching American series. The course is worth joining. I recommend it and I'm going to miss it

I'm really grateful for this course! That was an incredible experience, and which is more important, a useful practice after the Discover your American Accent course. I felt like I really needed these 6 more weeks of practice and hard work, and I didn't regret!
