Dear Julia! Thank you for the webinar - it was mould-breaking:) before attending the webinar I paid little attention to some features of modern English speech , or - on second thoughts - I reckon I was just "deaf" to them, blissfully ignorant of their existence at all concentrating more on grammatical structures and vocab used by native speakers. After listening to the webinar, I've grown much more aware of the "phonetic side" - and from now on I'll prick my ears more intensively to hear all those peculiarities of the modern RP you mentioned in the webinar. One more thing I liked about the webinar was the exposure to both English and American accent - really useful!

I wanna share my experience of Hogwarts Phonetics webinar. Start off, it's a pity that I couldn't have been one of the participants of this bona fide gem. Unfortunately I was busy during that day and watched the record of it later.
Lots of information was known, but some was new like the intrusive r.
The webinar is well-structured, all the materials are extremely useful. As I'm participating in Pronunciation Marathon right now, I didn't have much time to practice all the things covered. But as the PPT and the record stay with us for a long time, I know what I'm gonna do during my summer vacation ;)
Thank you Julia that you continue staying such a productive person and keep creating more and more new material.
